Tahko village
The 6th Nordic Conference for Rural Research will take place in Eastern Finland, in the heart of Finnish Lakeland. The conference venue is situated within the popular outdoor activities and recreational area of Tahkovuori.
Conference activities take place in the center Break Sokos Hotel Tahko.
How to get there?
Closest city to Tahko village is Kuopio. You can reach Kuopio by train and bus, as well as by direct flight from Helsinki-Vantaa airport.
The conference will organise a free bus transfer from Kuopio to Tahko and back on the most important travel times. You are asked about your estimated travel time to Kuopio on the registration form for this purpose. Please fill in the information based on your best information and update the details if needed.
